1. If possible, arrange the game participants so that they are sitting or standing in a circle or a semi-circle.
2. Make sure that the players are familiar with thegame of Word Chain. If they are not, it would be feasible to briefly explain the general rules of the classic version.
How to Play. For starting the game, invite Player A to come and stand in front of their classmates. Next, you say a starting word, e.g.:'Light!'. Then Player A thinks of a word, beginning with the letter 'T', and mimes it. The other participants try to guess the word like this:
Player В: Is it 'train'?
Player А: No, it isn't.
Player C: Is it 'taxi'?
Player А: No, it isn't.
Player D: Is it 'tram'?
Player А: Yes, it is.
As a result, Player D gets one point, comes to the front of the class and mimes a word, beginning with the letter 'M'. This time, it is Player E, whose turn to make the first guess and so on. The game continues around the circle as long as each player, at least once, acts as the leader. At the end of the activity, the number of points, accumulated by each participant during the whole competition, is counted up. The player, who gets the most points in total, becomes the winner of the game.
