This game is designed to help new classmates to get to know each other's names, while playing, in the first lesson.

Skills: Speaking.

Level: A1

Recommended Age: 6-8 y.o.

Number of Participants: 4-12 players.

Time: 15-20 minutes.

Place: Any.

Equipment: Not required.

Materials: Not required.

Preliminary Preparation: Not required.

Immediate Preparation: Not required.  

How to Play. First Players A and B come to the front of the class and stand opposite each other. Next Player A makes any movement, e.g. slaps his/her knees. Then he/she points to himself/herself and says, e.g.:'I'm Vova!'. After thet, Player B repeats the same movement, points to Player A and says:'You are Vova!'. Next Player C replaces Player A and Player B introduce himself/herself in the same way, and so on. The game lasts as long as all the ‘members of Moomba-Yumba tribe’ have introduced themselves. The main rule is each movement should be unique! There is no winner in this game, but icebreaking effect is great!
