This game is designed to help new classmates to get to know each other's names, while playing, in the first lesson.

Skills: Speaking.

Level: A1

Recommended Age: 6-9 y.o.

Number of Participants: 6-12 players.

Time: 15-20 minutes.

Place: Any.

Equipment: Not required.

Materials: Not required.

Preliminary Preparation: Not required.

Immediate Preparation: Not required.  

How to Play. The players take it in turns to call out a number, replacing every third with their names. The game may start like this:
Player A: One!
Player B: Two!
Player C: Nastya!
Player D: Four!
and so on.

A mistaken player leaves the game, which lasts as long as only the winner remains.
Variation. As an alternative for higher levels, the players may number like this:
Player A: I'm the first!
Player B: I'm the second!
Player C: I'm Kostya!
Player D: I'm the fourth!
so on.
